WHAT IS PERLITE ?
Perlite is an acidic volcanic glass. It is a rock that has thermal expansion property and becomes very light and porous when expanded. Perlite, which is 2000 - 2100 kg / m3 as raw and 2200 - 2400 kg / m3 as crushed, can be produced with a density of 32 kg / m3 and 180 kg / m3 after expanding.
When the ground, sized raw perlite is given to an environment with a temperature between 700-1200 C according to its type, the water in it comes out in steam form and its volume increases 4-30 floors times by exploding like corn in a very short time. In this way, expanded perlite turns into a very porous and slightly glassy structure.

NON-COMBUSTIBILITY
It meets the use of A1 class incombustible material requested by the fire directorate (BYKHY). It does not cause the development of fire but delays it.

Since it is a natural mineral, it does not contain carcinogenic substances, it does not emit its own carbon, it also reduces carbon monoxide emission by reducing the need for heating and cooling.
INSULATION
It provides good thermal insulation with its low thermal conductivity, as well as good sound insulation with its porous structure. It is waterproof with its water-repellent feature.
